Privacy Statement
Who we are
Our website address is: https://rxtvinfo.com. The website’s core audience is in the British Isles.
Storage of data
Data is preferentially processed in the UK and/or EEA member countries. However some of our technology partners who supply the site with extra functionality may process data in the USA. From the standpoint of GDPR and its data privacy standards, the USA is viewed as ‘inadequate’.
You may accept or decline consent, but without consent, third-party applications or embedded content, e.g. YouTube videos, may not be available to you.
Our technology partners store and/or access information on a device, such as cookies and process personal data, such as unique identifiers and standard information sent by a device for personalised ads and content, ad and content measurement, and audience insights, as well as to develop and improve products. For more information, please read the cookie policy.
RXTV accesses data to analyse where traffic is coming from, to see which types of content is most popular, which devices/browsers are used to access content (which helps to determine how to develop the website and which browsers to support) and to monitor or filter spam.
Comments & Contact Form
When visitors leave comments on the site or use the ‘contact us’ form, we collect the data shown on the form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The data, excluding the IP address, collected on a comments form is used to display the comment on the website. The data collected on the contact form is used internally to view and reply to messages sent to us from users of this website, with their consent.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, Tweets, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Twitter (Tracking cookie) Opt out* | Privacy policy
*For active Twitter users only. The guide will show you where signed-in users can opt-out on Twitter.
Social Media sharing buttons
On our website we offer you the possibility to use so-called “Social Media Buttons”.
To protect your data, we use a solution called “Shariff”. Hereby the share buttons are implemented as static images, which contain a link to the corresponding social network site.
If you click on such a button, you will be redirected to the respective social network site in the same way, as normal links would do as well. Only in that moment of time the provider of the social network site will get information about you, for example your IP address.
If you do not click on such a share button, no data will be transmitted. Information about the collection and usage of your date on the social network sites can be found in the corresponding terms of use of the respective provider. More information about the plugin and the Shariff solution can be found here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/shariff/
Shariff was developed in Germany.
This website currently includes social media share buttons for Facebook, Twitter, What’s App, LinkedIn, Tumblr and Mastodon.
Google Fonts
To protect your privacy, we now self-host the Google Fonts used by this website.
