Certain Panasonic smart TVs from 2017 to present can now access Disney’s streaming service.
Nearly two years after Disney Plus first launched in parts of the world, Panasonic has belatedly added support on a selection of smart TV models around the world.
Specifically, any Panasonic 4K TV model built from 2017 or later with the “My Home Screen operating system” will now carry the Disney Plus app. Model numbers start with EZ, EX, FZ, FX, GZ, GX, HZ, HX, JZ, or JX – that includes both OLED and LCD screens.
Panasonic is one the last major multi-national brands to get the app: it’s already standard on all newer LG and Samsung smart TVs. It’s also available on Android TVs from Sony and Philips and Roku smart TVs, as well as all major streaming sticks and boxes. Nevertheless, the addition on some TVs that are already four years old is a welcome bonus – older models often get left behind by manufacturers.
Disney Plus is available for £7.99 a month or £79.90 if you pay upfront for a year.
