Pop-up news channel to run from 1-12th November, offering live coverage of all the sessions at the much-heralded COP26 event in Glasgow.
Sky News Climate LIVE will run in parallel to the main Sky News channel, promising viewers a ‘unique insight’ into the impact of COP26 on the climate crisis. The channel will be available to all Sky subscribers and led by Anna Jones and Sam Washington from Glasgow. Kay Burley, Adam Boulton and Anna Botting will cover the World Leaders Summit at COP26 from 31st October.
Full coverage of the event will also be streamed on the Sky News app and website. A dedicated live blog will feature an interactive daily Q&A with experts and Sky’s correspondents.
In addition, Sky News will show exclusive documentary CLIMATE CRISIS: Life on the Frontline on 5th November at 9pm. The documentary highlights the impact of climate change on communities in Bangladesh and southern India.
Sky subscribers will also see specially themed documentaries, children’s shows and series across Sky’s channels during the event. Sky has committed to being Europe’s first net zero carbon entertainment company by 2030 and is a principal partner of COP26.
