Music channel NOW 80s has joined the line-up of TV channels that can now be streamed through Samsung TV Plus.
The channel is the latest to join the list of services available on Samsung’s own TV platform. It’s available on compatible Samsung smart TVs, smartphones and tablets.
NOW 80s is available on TV Plus channel 4717 in the UK, within the TV Plus music genre. For Samsung Smart TV owners who recently lost access to the channel after this summer’s Freeview channel changes, the move restores the access to the music channel alongside FreeSports (channel 4510), which joined TV Plus ahead of its departure from Freeview.
Other new additions on Samsung TV Plus
- The Homes Under The Hammer channel – with episodes from the long-running TV series now available 24/7 on channel 4109. The Homes Under The Hammer channel originally launched in the UK on Pluto TV.
- Great British Menu, featuring top chefs from the UK’s regions doing battle to have their dishes served up at a special dinner, now has its own TV Plus channel. (Channel 4430)
- Horizons, a new channel owned by production company Banijay and the home of some of its most popular programmes it’s made for other broadcasters. Location, Location, Location joins Robson’s Extreme Fishing Challenge and Dickenson’s Real Deal on channel 4115.
TV Plus can be found on channel 4000 on compatible Samsung Smart TVs. The channels are in addition to any free-to-air terrestrial or Freesat channels located below channel 4000. (Not all Samsung smart TVs contain a Freesat tuner).
