Virgin Media has finally acknowledged the arrival of Sky Kids HD to its TV platforms, available to eligible subscribers at no extra cost.
Sky Kids first popped up in mid-February on Virgin Media channel 707, with RXTV readers including Nigel, getting in touch with us to tell us of the new channel. Now though, Virgin Media has officially confirmed the new channel and shared details of how users can gain access to on-demand content from the channel.
Sky Kids is an ad-free channel, available on Sky, NOW and Virgin Media with programmes of interest to the under 7s.
The channel is free to existing Virgin Media Kids Pack users, but new customers can add the Kids Pack for an extra £5 a month.
New and existing customers who subscribe to Virgin Media’s Kids Pick will be able to watch Sky Kids entertainment at home and when they’re out via the Virgin TV Go app on WiFi, 3G, 4G or 5G in the UK.
