The price of an Apple TV+ subscription is about to go up by 28.6% in the UK.
- Existing subscribers will be billed the higher rate in their next billing cycle after 30 days.
- Part of a wider increase by Apple around the world.
- Follows price rises by Disney+ and Netflix.

Following reports from the USA, Apple confirmed it was rising the price of a number of its products. The increases are taking place in both the US (where the Apple TV+ price has jumped from $6.99 to $9.99 a month) and “select other international markets”, which unfortunately also includes the UK. The company is also adjusting pricing for its Apple One and Apple News+ products. Apple One prices in the UK start at £18.95 a month.
At the time of publication, the Apple website is just being updated with the new pricing.
The UK price rise to £8.99 a month comes almost exactly a year after Apple increased prices from £4.99 a month to £6.99.
New subscribers will be put on the new tariff immediately, although special introductory offers are available.
Existing subscribers will see their price go up when they hit their next billing cycle after a 30 day notice period.
As previously reported, Disney is putting up its prices next month, while Netflix is also increasing the price on some of its plans at the same time.
