BT Sport will, for the final time, make coverage of the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League finals free to watch.
It’s become a tradition for BT to open up access to the finals to non-subscribers. But like last year very few viewers will be able to access via a traditional TV platform. Most viewers will need to stream.
It’s the final time this will be done by BT Sport in its current incarnation. The broadcaster becomes TNT Sport from 18th July, moving operations from Stratford, East London to Warner Bros Discovery’s facilties in Chiswick. This follows last year’s merger of BT and WBD UK sports operations under a joint venture established by both companies.
The three free finals
Europa League: BT Sport’s live coverage of Seville v Roma will be live from Budapest from 7:15pm on Wednesday.
Europa Conference League Final: Fiorentina v West Ham, will begin at 6:30pm next Wednesday 7th June, live from Prague.
Champions League Final: BT Sport will show Manchester City v Inter on Saturday 10th June, live from Istanbul, with coverage beginning at 6pm.
The Champions League final will be Jake Humphries’ last outing on BT Sport. The presenter, who has been with the broadcaster since its launch ten years ago, is moving on.
BT Sport subscribers get to watch the finals in 4K UHD on compatible devices and platforms

BT Sport launched ten years ago this summer. It gained the rights to screen the Champions League and Europa League from August 2015. Its successor TNT Sport will exclusively screen both leagues, plus the Europa Conference League next season. But from 2024, it will lose exclusivity with Amazon Prime screening some matches and the BBC showing highlights.
