UPDATED / Series links and programme listings for Channel 5 have been wiped out as a result of a technical issue supplying data to TV platforms.
Electronic Programme Guides (EPG) and apps linked to a number of TV platforms were unable to provide any information about forthcoming Channel 5 programmes from Sunday 30th April.
Sky originally displayed ‘This is Channel 5’ in lieu of proper listings, but this was fixed on Tuesday afternoon.
Freesat has also begun to receive listings data, which will allow users to begin to set scheduled recordings or series links once again.
Freeview has, as of Tuesday afternoon, received data for Sunday, but it is still showing no programme data for Bank Holiday Monday. This is reflected on the Freeview TV guide on Freeview Play TVs, the Freeview app and Freeview website.
The Channel 5 TV guide fault is expected to be completely resolved soon.
Nevertheless, viewers expecting to record programmes from Channel 5 in the next week will need to double check their recordings.
It’s not the first time an issue has occured with listings data. Earlier this year, Channel 4 data went missing from the Freesat TV guide.
