The BBC and ITV have confirmed this weekend’s schedules, giving ITV1 and STV exclusive live coverage of the next England match.
- BBC gets coverage of games featuring Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands
- ITV secures coverage of England v Slovakia on Sunday 30th June, but BBC will reply entire match during the early hours of Monday morning.
Uncertainty over this weekend’s BBC and ITV schedules have been resolved, with ITV1 and STV screening England’s next game versus Slovakia on Sunday 30th June, as the team return to Gelsenkirchen for the first part of the knock-out stages.
The BBC’s live TV coverage of the Round of 16 will begin with Italy v Switzerland on BBC One at 4.30pm on Saturday 29th June, kick off 5:00pm UK time. Later on Saturday, ITV1 and STV will screen Germany v Denmark.
The arrangement between the two broadcasters allows the BBC to screen Coldplay live at Glastonbury at 10pm Saturday on BBC One, rather than on BBC Two. The BBC’s schedules will be dominated with Glastonbury coverage on Sunday as well, with both Euro 2024 games on ITV1.
The BBC will replay the England v Slovakia game at 2:10am on Monday morning on BBC One.
