The BBC and ITV have now confirmed how they’re splitting up TV coverage of the Euro 2024 Quarter Finals.
- BBC One and BBC iPlayer home of live coverage of England v Switzerland from Düsseldorf.
- ITV, ITVX and STV to screen Quarter Final matches featuring Germany and the Netherlands.
The BBC will offer comprehensive live coverage of England’s Euro 2024 Quarter Final game versus Switzerland on Saturday 6th July.
BBC One will be live in Germany from 4pm, with the kick-off in Düsseldorf at 5pm. Gary Lineker is joined by Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard and Micah Richards for studio analysis. Guy Mowbray and Alan Shearer provide commentary. Full coverage can be streamed via BBC iPlayer, while live audio commentary is available on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds.
The coverage is open-ended, subject to extra time, meaning BBC Two will carry live coverage from Wimbledon.
Other Euro 2024 Quarter Finals on TV
SPAIN V GERMANY – FRIDAY 5TH JULY
ITV1, ITVX and STV will show Friday’s fixture between Spain and Germany from Stuttgart. Coverage begins at 4pm, with kick-off at 5pm.
PORTUGAL V FRANCE – FRIDAY 5TH JULY
The BBC will be live with the second quarter final between Portugual and France on Friday evening. Coverage on BBC One is currently due to start at 7:20, following an extended post-election BBC News at Six. Kick-off is at 8pm.
NETHERLANDS V TURKEY – SATURDAY 6TH JULY
ITV1, ITVX and STV will also provide viewers with live coverage of Quarter Final between The Netherlands and Turkey (Türkiye) from Berlin. Coverage starts at 7pm, kick-off at 8pm.
Changes to other schedules
Confirmation of Friday’s Euro 2024 TV schedule also means ITV will be ending its Election coverage at 3:30pm.
Wimbledon coverage may yet remain on BBC Two all day, should BBC One’s afternoon Election coverage be extended further. Evening coverage of Portugal v France on BBC One, plus extended post-Election news coverage replaces live tennis from Wimbledon.
