Premier Sports Cup: extra 25 games to be live streamed

3 July 2024

A total of 30 matches from the first round group stages of the Premier Sports Cup will be available to subscribers, with five on traditional pay TV services.

  • Sky customers with Premier Sports subscription get complimentary access to streaming service
  • Premier Sports Matchday Pass to offer 48 hour access for viewers only wanting access to certain matches.

Scottish football fans will be able to follow more of the action from this season’s Premier Sports Cup after Premier Sports confirmed it would be offering live coverage of an extra 25 group stage matches.

All of the extra games will be streamed live through Premier Sports streaming service.

The original five games selected for TV broadcast will continue to be broadcast on Premier Sports 1 via Sky, Virgin, Amazon Prime Video and the Premier Sports streaming service. Scroll down for a full list of televised games.

Premier Sports will also broadcast all games live from the second round onwards, either streamed or televised, subject to Saturday 3pm blackout rules.

Sky satellite users

Premier Sports has confirmed that Sky satellite users who have an active Premier Sports subscription will receive complimentary access to the streaming service.

However, the streaming service isn’t available through Sky’s own receivers. Instead, coverage can be streamed via an internet browser through the Premier Sports website or via the dedicated Android and iOS apps for mobiles and tablets, Fire TV or Chromecast.

Premier Sports isn’t available on Sky Glass/Sky Stream in the UK.

Virgin Media customers

Premier Sports on Virgin Media only includes Premier Sports 1 and 2. At present, it doesn’t include access to the streaming service.

Streaming-only users

Access to the Premier Sports streaming service is normally £14.99 a month. However, for fans who only want access to certain matches, a new matchday pass will become available for £9.99. It will provide 48 hours of access to watch the extra group stage matches.
