Virgin Media TV customers in the UK can now enjoy access to DAZN Women’s Football channel at no extra cost.
- Virgin Media is the first pay TV provider to offer the streaming channel.
- Offers coverage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
- Available on channel 554.
Virgin Media has become the first pay TV platform to incorporate streaming channel DAZN Women’s Football on its channel list.
Available to Virgin TV customers directly via their set-top-box, DAZN’s FAST channel offers the opportunity to enjoy live football coverage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL), which features a number of Lioness players such as Chelsea stars and Bayern’s Georgia Stanway, as well as behind the scenes access and exciting archive footage.
With appetite for women’s football continuing to soar and peak audiences for key matches such as the England vs Spain Women’s World Cup final in 2023 reaching heights of 14.8m, Virgin Media is committed to catering for this growing demand while keeping up with customers’ evolving viewing habits by partnering with best-in-class broadcasters such as DAZN.
Viewers can access DAZN Women’s Football on channel 554.
It’s the latest streaming channel to be converted into a regular DVB-C broadcast channel on Virgin Media. The company began to incorporate streaming channels between 220-260 on the channel list last year. These channels were previously only available on online platforms, notably Pluto TV.
For non-Virgin Media UK users, DAZN Women’s Football is also carried on Samsung TV Plus and Pluto TV.
