Chart Show TV: from Sony to That’s TV
Trace Music was the former owner of Chart Show TV after buying the channel from Sony Pictures Television in 2018. Trace replaced the channel with one of its own services, but failed to make much of an impact in the UK TV market. The broadcaster withdrew its last service from Sky in 2023, with residual assets sold off. Trace continues as an online-only broadcaster in the UK, with services on Samsung TV Plus and Channelbox.
That’s TV acquired Trace’s Sky channel asset following the closure of Trace Vault in December 2023, buying channel 360 in an Sky EPG trade.
Chart Show Retro is the first That’s TV channel that doesn’t carry the That’s TV brand.
