The free streaming service from Paramount, which is due to merge with My5 later this year has a range of new streaming channels available to viewers this month.
- Now 80s channel finds new home on Pluto TV
- Channels devoted to Eggheads and The Crystal Maze now available on the UK version of the platform.
Pluto TV has continued to grow the number of free, ad-supported streaming channels, available on the vast majority of streaming-enabled TVs and dongles.
There are nine new steaming channels new to Pluto TV, including a new home for popular 1980s music channel NOW 80s, for viewers who don’t have access to Sky, Virgin Media or Samsung TV Plus. The channel features hits from stars including Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Kylie.
True Crime UK has also arrived on the service as part of a wider expansion of the brand across multiple platforms. The channel is a streaming spin-off of the Freeview True Crime channel owned by AMC Networks International, providing viewers with true crime stories to dip into anytime.
Fans of the quiz show Eggheads can now access the 24/7 streaming channel devoted to screening episodes of the the show. Again, this is a channel that has already debuted on other streaming platforms that will now reach a wider audience through Pluto TV.
The Crystal Maze channel showcases back-to-back episodes of the British game show including celebrity editions hosted by Richard Ayoade.

Under plans announced by Paramount in 2023, My5 will merge with Pluto TV later this year to create a single destination for free-to-stream content, including one of the biggest libraries of ad-supported streaming channels alongside Channel 5’s services.
