LG Smart TV users will have access to hundreds of Xbox games following a free upgrade to their devices rolling out this year.

LG Electronics (LG) has announced a partnership with Xbox, providing players access to hundreds of games with the Xbox app on LG Smart TVs.
Owners of LG’s latest Smart TVs will be able to effortlessly discover and play a wide selection of PC and console games from industry-leading partners, and soon Xbox, through the new Gaming Portal.
The new Gaming Portal is designed as an all-in-one solution for seamless navigation and personalised gaming.
As the update containing access to Xbox Cloud Gaming rolls out across devices, LG Smart TV users will have direct access to games with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, including popular titles such as Call of Duty: BlackOps 6, and highly anticipated releases like Avowed.
With Game Pass Ultimate, players will also be able to stream a catalogue of select Xbox games they own such as NBA 2K25 and Hogwarts Legacy.
LG says it will confirm more details regarding availability “at a later date”, including which of its latest Smart TVs will add Xbox Cloud Gaming. For now, the company will only say that Gaming Portal availablity “can vary per TV model.”
