TNT Sports and HBO Max to screen all-day FA Cup Final special

13 May 2026

Subscribers will be able to spend a day at Wembley with build-up to the men’s FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Manchester City starting at 9am.

  • Sports broadcast offers comprehensive build up and post match coverage to woo viewers away from free BBC coverage.
  • TalkSport and TNT Sports team up for morning build-up.

From the first coffee of the morning to kick-off beneath the arch at Wembley Stadium, TNT Sports will deliver a celebration of the coveted game – combining tradition, entertainment, nostalgia and analysis across a day-long FA Cup Final broadcast this Saturday, 16th May.

Coverage starts at 9am with ‘Wake Up at Wembley‘, presented by Craig Doyle and Becky Ives as supporters begin to gather. The first hour of the show will also be broadcast live on talkSPORT and the TNT Sports team will welcome talkSPORT presenter Jason Cundy to the sofa.

Joe Cole and Ugo Monye take over for brunch. The duo will be joined by chef Tom Sellers and a series of high-profile guests including comedian Kevin Day and former Lionesses and Manchester City striker Ellen White.

The programme will explore the enduring magic of the FA Cup — from unforgettable giant-killings to defining finals and the players who shaped the competition’s history. The programme will combine club storytelling and behind-the-scenes insight centred around the shared experience of the matchday meal.

Meanwhile, TNT Sports will be at team hotels, supporter hubs, and Wembley Way for further pre-match coverage.

TNT Sports FA Cup Final main coverage

From 1:00pm, coverage moves pitch side. Hosted by Laura Woods alongside a star-studded punditry line-up featuring Gerrard, Cole and Joe Hart.

Led by the commentary team of Darren Fletcher, Ally McCoist and Gerrard, the Emirates FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Manchester City will also return to its traditional kick-off time of 3pm.

This year’s FA Cup Final will mark the 49th match broadcast live by TNT Sports during this season’s competition, with Luton Town’s 4-3 First Round victory over Forest Green Rovers in October the first tie shown live on TNT Sports.

The BBC has free-to-air coverage from 1:15pm on Saturday 16 May on BBC One and iPlayer, fronted by Jason Mohammad.

Other finals on TNT Sports and HBO Max

Later this month, TNT Sports and HBO Max will screen the following finals on a live and exclusive basis:

  • Wednesday 20 May 2026: UEFA Europa League Final between Aston Villa and Freiburg,
  • Wednesday 27 May 2026: UEFA Conference League Final between Crystal Palace vs Rayo Vallecano
  • Saturday 30 May 2026: UEFA Champions League Final between Arsenal and holders Paris Saint-Germain
  • Sunday 31 May 2026: Adobe Women’s FA Cup Final between Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester City at Wembley.
