S4C is the Welsh language public service broadcaster, serving Wales since 1st November 1982. Following the introduction of digital television, its signals can be received across the UK and beyond.
How to watch S4C
S4C is available on all TV platforms in Wales. Outside of Wales, it is available free-to-air on satellite and is also carried by Virgin Media and Sky Glass. A live stream of S4C is available through its own streaming service ‘Clic’. As the channel now receives some licence fee funding, it is also carried on the BBC iPlayer.
