TV5MONDE unveils new look and increased UK reach

6 December 2021
TV5MONDE IDENT 1

The French language global TV and streaming channel is entering 2022 with a new look and increased reach, including within the UK.

A refresh of TV5MONDE’s output means new idents and presentation and changes to its look and feel online. The new look emphasises TV5MONDE’s global reach. Design agency Dream-one has imagined a look where the borders between nature, technology and people blur.

Meanwhile, users of Amazon Fire Sticks can now access TV5MONDE’s streaming service TV5MONDE PLUS, increasing the service’s reach in the UK, which is one of the world’s leading markets for Fire Sticks. Through the service, users can explore TV5MONDE’s library of entertainment, culture, current affairs and children’s programmes.

TV5MONDE has been operating as mainly an online-only service in the UK since it withdrew its outlets on Sky and Virgin Media during the winter of 2018-19. A satellite signal is available via the Astra 19.2E satellite. However, it can’t be received on standard Sky or Freesat installations.
