Viewers watching this weekend’s Sky Sports EFL match featuring Wycombe v Portsmouth will get to follow the coverage in a very different way than usual.
With the EFL competing against the World Cup for attention, Sky Sports is to screen its very first “EFL Innovation Game”.
This means viewers will have more behind-the-scenes access than ever before. Extra features include on-pitch audio, dressing room footage, exclusive interviews and club personnel on co-commentary duties. Viewers will also get a closer look at the role of the match officials.
Then, at half-time, Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth and Portsmouth counterpart Danny Cowley will also be on-hand to join the Sky Sports team to reflect on the game, and to give a unique insight into a manager’s thoughts mid-match.
Wycombe v Portsmouth coverage starts at 11:30am on Sunday 4th December 2022. Kick-off is at 12:30pm. The game will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.
