DAZN’s pay-per-view channel is the second DAZN service to be added to the Sky channel line-up this spring.
DAZN PPV HD is now available on Sky channel 495 on Sky+HD and Sky Q in the UK. This will allow viewers to watch optional extra boxing events on a pay-per-view basis on top of an existing DAZN subscription. The HD-only channel is not available on older Sky receivers. DAZN is also not available via Sky Glass/Stream.
▶ DAZN pay-per-view on Sky: Important to know
- The first PPV event is KSI VS FOURNIER, Saturday 13th May from 19:00.
- DAZN pay-per-view is only available on top of an existing DAZN subscription.
- If you don’t already subscribe to DAZN, you can’t buy access to DAZN pay-per-view on a standalone basis.
- Only DAZN 1 HD and DAZN PPV HD are available on Sky+HD and Sky Q. To access other services from DAZN, you need to use the DAZN app for mobiles, tablets, streaming devices and supported smart TVs. See DAZN’s full list of supported devices.
- To buy access to a DAZN pay-per-view event on Sky or any other platform that carries DAZN: sign in to DAZN.com and go to “My Account”. DAZN says Sky Q viewers will see a QR code that can be scanned on mobile. This will take you to an online payment page.
Back in March, DAZN, in partnership with Arqiva, launched its first channel on Sky – DAZN 1 HD on channel 429.
In the UK, DAZN has been so far unsuccessful in its attempts to break in to live men’s football. In the meantime, the UK version of the service specialises in live boxing, plus women’s football, Indian Premier League (T20 Cricket), MMA and wrestling.
Access to DAZN currently costs:
- £19.99 a month with a no-contract monthly flexible pass
- £99.99 a year for an annual super saver subscription
- or £9.99 a month, 12 recurring monthly payments, on a monthly saver plan.
- Pay-per-view events are extra. Their price will vary, depending on event.
