An end of month Freeview channel update contains an extra channel for some viewers, and changes to children’s streaming channels.
- Wedotv Movies returns as a linear broadcast channel
Coverage of free-to-air movie channel wedotv Movies UK has been extended in the latest Freeview channel update.
The channel originated as an online-only service, available on smart TV platforms and apps, but launched as a linear broadcast channel in October 2025. It features action, thrillers, romance, comedy and family movies and is available on channel 98. A multiplex change on Thursday means more viewers can now tune in, although viewers may need to rescan their TV.
Ahead of Thursday’s channel update, wedotv Movies had been temporarily unavailable for the past month. It had only previously been distributed on Freeview in areas covered by a local TV service.
Viewers in parts of the UK may also find wedotv’s streaming portal on channel 275. This includes high quality streams of its two main channels.
Following recent reductions in the number of children’s TV services on the Freeview platform, streaming services Ketchup TV, Ketchup Too and Cartoon Classics have shuffled up to fill gaps in the channel list.
Viewers can now find Ketchup TV on channel 208 (was 209) and Ketchup Too on 209 (was 210). Meanwhile, Cartoon Classics shuffles up from 214 to 210.
Finally, Talk has been delisted from Freeview. This follows the broadcaster’s earlier announcement it was coming off the platform and focussing on smart TV platforms and YouTube.
