Arts and Craft shopping channel is now trading under a new name, as it ditches the Hochanda brand.
Overnight, the channel has rebranded to “The Craft Store”. Platform operators are currently in the process of updating their channel listings with the new name.
The channel’s website and social media platforms have also migrated to new addresses overnight. Online shoppers can now watch and buy items at www.thecraftstore.com. On Twitter, The Craft Store is now “@thecraftstoretv”. On Facebook, it’s available at ‘thecraftstoretv’.
Hochanda originally stood for “Home of Crafts, Hobbies and Arts”. It first launched in 2015, tapping in to a popular branch of teleshopping dedicated to designing and making things. It’s one of three such channels on Freeview, alongside Ideal World’s Create & Craft and Gemporia’s Shopping Quarter channel. To help viewers with the change, the Hochanda brand is showing underneath the new channel logo.
The Craft Store is broadcast on Sky 673, Freesat 817 and Freeview 85. It’s also available as an app with live streaming on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV.
