[GUIDE] After a twelve year wait, ITV’s HD channel offshoots have gone free-to-air on satellite. Sky and Freesat viewers in the UK can now watch the channels directly from the channel list, but the channels can now be manually tuned in on any satellite receiver.
The free-to-air switch means Sky Ireland viewers can now manually tune in the channels, as ITV doesn’t make these channels available to Sky subscribers in the Republic. Anyone else with a generic satellite receiver can now also tune in.
ITV2 is ITV’s youth orientated entertainment channel, with highlights including Love Island. ITV3 offers the best of ITV’s drama and soap archives. ITV4 screens classic series and live sport.
Providing your satellite dish is set to receive Astra 2E (including standard Sky/Freesat installations), you can manually add the channels using parameters listed below. Coverage using a regular sized satellite dish is limited to the UK and Ireland and a limited area of north-western Europe.
