The BBC has confirmed further details of how it will cover The State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen across television, radio, iPlayer and BBC Sounds.
As previously confirmed, main coverage will start at 8:00. Coverage will be shown on both BBC One and BBC Two, with BBC Two carrying in-vision BSL signing.
Huw Edwards and Fergal Keane will front the corporation’s coverage from London. David Dimbleby and Kirsty Young will be in Windsor. Sophie Raworth will present from Parliament Square. Joining them, Anita Rani will be at Long Walk at Windsor and JJ Chalmers will be at Wellington Barracks.
Coverage will run until 17:00.

Radio coverage
On radio a special programme presented by Martha Kearney will capture the key events in London and Windsor. Allan Little will be inside Westminster Abbey, with analysis from Royal Correspondent Jonny Dymond and commentary from different points along the procession route from Ken Bruce, Mishal Husain, Emma Barnett, Clive Myrie, Adele Roberts, John Murray, Mike Costello, Rachel Burden, Nuala McGovern, Chris Mason, Jamie Coomarasamy, Andrea Catherwood and James Naughtie.
Eleanor Oldroyd will be inside St George’s Chapel in Windsor, with commentary from different points along the procession route from Naga Munchetty, Paddy O’Connell, Alistair Bruce-Ball, Julian Worricker, Anna Foster and Tony Livesey.
The special programme will be simulcast on BBC Sounds, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Scotland between 09:00 – 13:30 and 14:30 – 17:00.
BBC Local Radio will join for the funeral coverage in a special programme which runs from 10:00 to 14:00 across England.
Radio 2 and Radio 3 will broadcast the State Funeral Service at 11:00, and BBC Radio 3 will also broadcast the Committal Service at 16:00.
BBC World Service English will broadcast the Procession, the State Funeral Service and the Committal Service.
Nations
BBC Radio Ulster’s Talkback programme from 10:30-13:30 will bring listeners in Northern Ireland live coverage of the State Funeral Service with commentary from presenter William Crawley. Evening Extra, from 15:00-18:00 will provide coverage of the Committal Service.
On BBC Radio Cymru, Dewi Llwyd, Alun Thomas and Garry Owen present live coverage of the State Funeral Service between 10:15 and 13:15. There will be regular updates via extended bulletins during the afternoon before an extended Newyddion Radio Cymru presented by Dylan Jones will cover the Committal Service and reflect on the day’s events.
On BBC Radio nan Gaidheal, Cathy MacDonald will present live coverage of the State Funeral Service from 10:00. There will be regular updates via extended bulletins during the afternoon before an extended Aithris an Fheasgair will cover the Committal Service and reflect on the day’s events.
The two minute silence during the State Funeral Service will be observed across all live stations.
BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network and BBC Radio 6 Music will reflect the events of the day in their news coverage, with amended schedules. Radio 1 Dance and Radio 1 Relax will be simulcasting Radio 1 on Monday.
