Two channels are removed, one is relegated and two channels are to be reshuffled as the Sky satellite channel undergoes another update.
- DAZN 1 and DAZN PPV will be removed, as content goes online-only.
- That’s Memories relegated to bottom of entertainment section after launching in music section this week.
That’s Memories, the replacement for That’s 60s on Sky, is on the move – just a week after launching. The channel launched in the middle of the music section with a schedule dominated by World War II documentaries and biographies. Less than six hours of its schedule is taken up by music.
As a result, That’s Memories is being kicked out of the music section and relegated to the bottom of the entertainment section of the Sky channel guide.
On Tuesday 9th July, it will move from channel 365 to 191 on Sky Q and Sky+HD boxes, sitting below GREAT! Real and Rewind TV.
Meanwhile, sister channels That’s 80s and 90s will move up one slot in a further reshuffle of the music section on 9th July.
That’s 80s moves to 366 to 365. That’s 90s moves from 367 to 366.
DAZN
On Monday 8th July, DAZN 1 HD and DAZN PPV HD will be removed permanently from the Sky satellite channel list following the end of programmes this weekend.
DAZN 1 HD and DAZN PPV HD were added to Sky in 2023, with Arqiva uplinking the channel to the platform. The two channels have become surplus to requirements now that the DAZN app has been rolled out on Sky Q boxes. The removal of the channels chiefly impacts users of older Sky+HD boxes. If this affects you, you can request an upgrade to Sky Q (satellite) or switch to Sky Stream (IPTV) to continue having both Sky and DAZN on one device.
